Evergreen’s story began with Detroit and a belief that the city’s vacant and underutilized residential land represents an extraordinary opportunity to create thoughtful new housing. Our first collection was developed specifically around Detroit’s traditional residential lots, development requirements and neighborhood fabric.

The Detroit Strategy

Many Detroit residential parcels are narrow urban lots. Evergreen’s initial design system uses an efficient modular approach intended to respond to those dimensions while preserving outdoor space, flexibility and architectural character. The objective is not simply to fit a house onto a lot. It’s to design a home that belongs there.
